Notions Unlimited Bookshop – Chelsea Beach Arcade {3}

Here stands our shining beacon of hope.  A specialist bookshop in Bayside Melbourne crammed full of the good stuff, with fantasy, science-fiction, horror, manga, paranormal, art books, classics and young adult titles.

So, come and sit on the couch. Mind the Tardis…

And remember…

They’ll lose their appetite for those pesky bookshop critics who go around braying of doom and gloom and the end of bookshops. And they make a fine  Zombie-lunch.

On Steampunk Romance and starting with the Wrong Book {6}

Edie had been nattering about ‘steampunk’ here and there, and while it piqued my curiosity each time, taking the time to check it out kept slipping my mind. While I was second-hand book shopping I picked up a copy of  ‘Steamed’ by Katie MacAlister. I vaguely recalled Edie telling me she hadn’t gotten past the first page, but thought I might give it a whirl (as I just told her, telling me not to do something is as good as daring me to).
